The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering solutions including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it is actually alarmed concerning the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The service position established for intervention experiences a large influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes status sassa it difficult for your office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out sassa status check programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to enable the servicing of all clients and improve access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
